Dumfries and Galloway Cultural Partnership
Website coming soon
Welcome! If you are looking for the Dumfries and Galloway Cultural Partnership, you are in the right place.
We’re working on building a new online home for the DG Cultural Partnership right now, but while that work is in progress, here’s a little bit about who we are, what we’re doing, and how you can get in touch with us.
About the Partnership
The Dumfries & Galloway Cultural Partnership (DGCP) is a collective of organisations working together to support and strengthen the region’s cultural life across arts, heritage, culture and creativity. We believe that culture matters to all of us, in every community in our region, and we’re looking forward to working together to build a shared vision for a thriving, inclusive and sustainable cultural future for Dumfries and Galloway.
Our core founding partners are:
- Dumfries and Galloway Council
- Dumfries and Galloway Museums and Heritage Network
- DG Unlimited
- South of Scotland Enterprise (SOSE)
As the DG Cultural Partnership develops we will share news of opportunities, support, collaborations and fresh ideas for the cultural sector in our region. The partnership will be of interest to anyone who is involved with or works in culture in our region – individuals, professionals and practitioners, public or private organisations, businesses, charities and community groups, and you, our audiences from across the region.
How can you get involved?
We will be announcing the thematic groups soon, they will be covering areas like skills, community, wellbeing, education, the visitor economy and more and they will provide an opportunity for engagement at all levels. These groups will be open to anyone passionate about arts, heritage or cultural life in Dumfries & Galloway. The work of developing these groups has already started and we have enjoyed a variety of great conversations at our recent inaugural event at Easterbrook Hall this Spring. We have taken all the feedback from that event and we’re using it to inform the next stages of development and planning.
Initially, while we build the website and put things in place, if you would like to register for news via email, please fill out the short form below. This will ensure you receive updates on progress and news from us.
